Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most.

Is there a minimum order requirement?

Each product includes a minimum order quantity based on the manufacturer's requirements. We work to keep these minimums as low as possible and clearly display them on every product page.

If you need fewer pieces than the listed minimum, contact our team. In some situations, we can arrange a smaller production run through the manufacturer for an additional charge. Availability and pricing for reduced minimums vary by product.

Please note that minimum quantities are tied to the decoration method shown. Different imprint methods or undecorated items may have different minimum order requirements.

Can I order products without customization?

Yes. The majority of our products can be purchased without printing or decoration, making them suitable for bulk orders. When ordering undecorated merchandise, setup charges are generally not required, although standard minimum quantities still apply.

Please be aware that certain premium brands are not available for purchase without customization.

Blank products cannot currently be ordered directly through our website. Please contact us via livechat on the site, call us at 888-515-1026 or email us at [email protected] for blank ordering.

Can I request product samples before placing an order?

Absolutely. We sell our samples at the lowest possible cost, and that amount can also be credited toward a qualifying future order. Most samples are delivered within 5–7 business days, and faster shipping methods are available for an additional fee.

I need help with artwork and design, can you help me?

Yes. Our team is available to assist with artwork and design questions throughout the ordering process. We'll review your project, discuss your goals, and, when design resources are available, help prepare your artwork for the best possible printing results.

Our objective is to ensure your design meets production requirements while achieving a professional finished appearance.

Can you help me decide which promo product is best for me?

Businesses consistently choose promotional items that combine everyday usefulness with strong brand visibility. We can help you find the best item for you within your budget and timeline!

How long will it take to receive my order?

Production time is the period required to apply your approved artwork to the selected products. Estimated production timelines are listed in the Additional Information section of each product page and do not include artwork preparation or shipping time.

Manufacturing begins once your order has been reviewed and your digital proof has been approved. Production is complete when the order leaves the manufacturer's facility.

If you have a specific deadline, contact us to discuss expedited production or faster shipping options. Please keep in mind that factors such as large order quantities, PMS color matching, or artwork adjustments may increase production time.

What is your return policy for customized products?

Customer satisfaction is our priority. If there's a problem with your order, we'll work with you to find an appropriate solution.

Because customized products are produced specifically for each customer, they generally cannot be returned. Returns are accepted only when an item has a verified manufacturing defect or production error.

Do you offer online stores for my company?

We do — and we handle everything from finding products, designing and creating the store, printing and shipping, and everything in between. Learn more about company stores.

How do I place an order?

Select your quantity, upload artwork or enter your custom text, choose your item color, imprint method, and imprint color, then set your delivery date. Review your selections and add the item to your cart.

Sign in to your account to proceed through checkout, apply any discount codes, and enter your payment information. Once submitted, your order will be placed on hold while our art team creates a virtual proof.

Approve the proof to move your order to production, or request changes and we'll send a revised proof. Cancellations must be made before proof approval to receive a full refund.

How do I request a quote?

You can request a quote in several ways. On any product page, click the "Request a Quote" button and fill out the required information — you'll receive a written quote within 24 hours.

For more complex or customized orders, call us or connect via Live Chat, Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM EST. You can also email your request to a sales agent for a personalized quote within 24 hours.

If you have a dedicated sales associate, feel free to reach out to them directly.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, you can cancel any time before pre-production begins and receive a full refund.

Once your virtual proof is approved and the order moves into production, cancellation cannot be guaranteed. You are responsible for any costs already incurred — including setup fees, design work, shipping, or restocking — if cancellation is requested after approval.

Do you offer rush orders?

Yes. We offer a wide range of products with rush production options. Provide your required delivery date when ordering and we'll find the best production and shipping options to meet your timeline.

Please note: entering a due date at checkout does not guarantee delivery by that date. If you need items within the next few days, contact a sales rep to confirm availability before ordering.

Rush service covers manufacturing only — shipping time is separate. Browse our Rush Items section for the fastest options available. Call us at 888-515-1026, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–8 PM EST.

Do you offer price matching?

Yes. If you find the same product offered at a lower total cost by a competitor, we'll do our best to match their price. Price matching is based on the full order total, not the per-piece price.

Some competitors list products manufactured overseas with longer production times — if your timeline is flexible, we're happy to explore matching those prices as well.

Please note that price matching cannot be combined with additional discounts or promotional offers. Have a quote from another supplier? Contact us and we'll take a look.

How do I create an account?

An account is required to request a quote, order a sample, or place an order. You'll be prompted to create one during your first order, but registering in advance gives you faster checkout with saved billing and shipping info, a persistent shopping cart across devices, and the ability to build and share product wish lists with colleagues.

How is my order total calculated?

Your estimated total includes the product cost, decoration or setup fees, and shipping charges based on your delivery location.

Additional charges may apply for multi-color imprints, non-standard imprint methods, rush production, or expedited shipping. You will be notified of any extra fees before your order moves forward.

How do I know if a product is in stock?

We partner with a wide range of manufacturers and availability can change quickly. Stock is not reserved until your order is placed, paid for, and approved — even if availability is confirmed at the time of inquiry, it may change before your order is finalized.

If you're ordering for an event or working with a tight timeline, we recommend calling us before placing your order to confirm availability.

Are there any special offers or discounts available?

Yes! Subscribe to our email newsletter for early access to exclusive promotions and discounts. We occasionally offer free shipping on qualifying orders for a limited time — these deals are announced via email and featured on our website.

Free shipping applies to UPS or FedEx Ground (3–5 business days) to a single address in the contiguous U.S. on orders of 50 lbs. or less. Not valid for Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO, or international locations. Cannot be combined with other offers.

What is a virtual proof?

A virtual proof is a digital mockup that shows your artwork placed on the product you've selected. Using manufacturer-provided templates, it gives a highly accurate preview of how your final item will look.

Your order won't move into production until you've reviewed and approved your proof. Virtual proofs are typically ready within one business day after you place your order, and you'll receive an email notification once yours is available.

We're happy to revise your proof as many times as needed to ensure you're completely satisfied. If you'd prefer to see your logo on an actual product before committing to a full order, ask about requesting a pre-production sample.

How do I approve my virtual proof?

Click the link in your proof email to go directly to your account. Log in with the email address associated with your order and click "Review Virtual Proof." Carefully review the imprint color, item color, size, placement, and spelling.

To approve, click "I approve this virtual proof," read through the confirmation checklist, check "I agree to the above terms," and click "Submit Response." Your order moves to production once approved and payment is complete.

To request changes, click "I do not approve this proof," leave your notes in the comment box, upload new artwork if needed, and click "Submit Response." A revised proof will be emailed to you once updates are made.

Why might the colors in my proof look different from the final product?

Colors can appear differently on screen due to variations in display settings, lighting, and device calibration. Digital proofs are intended for general preview purposes and may not perfectly reflect the actual product or imprint color.

If color accuracy is especially important to you, we recommend requesting a pre-production sample. This lets you review the final product with your design applied before full production begins. Pre-production samples are subject to availability and may not be offered for rush orders.

What does the blue line around my imprint mean?

The blue dotted line is simply a guide — it represents the maximum imprint area and will not appear on your final printed product. These imprint zones are set based on the item's design and the equipment used for printing. If you'd like to explore a custom imprint placement, contact your Account Manager as additional charges may apply.

Why do certain letters look bold in my proof?

This is usually caused by file compression used to optimize artwork for web viewing, which can make thinner lines appear heavier at smaller sizes. Try zooming in to 600% or more — in most cases the text will appear as intended at that magnification. If it still looks incorrect, feel free to request an adjustment.

What is the difference between vector and raster artwork?

Vector images are made up of mathematically defined lines and shapes, making them resolution-independent and infinitely scalable — ideal for printing. Common vector formats include .ai, .eps, .pdf, .cdr, and .svg.

Raster images are made up of pixels and can lose quality when enlarged. Common raster formats include .jpg, .tiff, .png, and .psd. For print, raster files need to be at least 300 DPI at the intended print size.

We prefer vector artwork in .ai, .eps, .pdf, or .cdr format for the best results.

How do I upload artwork for my order?

On the product page, click the "Design" button to open our Design Lab, then click "Add Artwork" to upload a file from your computer. Use high-resolution images — 300 DPI at the size you'd like the image printed.

If you have trouble uploading, you can also email your artwork with your order number to our art department after placing your order. Low-resolution artwork may require additional conversion time, which could delay rush orders.

Can you convert my low-resolution artwork to a print-ready file?

Yes. If you have low-resolution or raster artwork, we can convert it to a vector file for printing — either through a vectorizing program or by redrawing it by hand. Once converted, we can provide a downloadable vector file you can use for any future printing projects.

Turnaround time varies depending on the complexity of the artwork, so we recommend supplying print-ready vector files for rush orders to avoid delays. Call us at 888-515-1026 or chat with us Monday–Friday, 8 AM–8 PM EST, with any questions.

How can I make sure the correct font is used on my order?

Use the comment box when ordering to specify your desired font (e.g., Helvetica). If you have the font file (.ttf or .otf), upload it along with your order.

For vector artwork, convert all fonts to curves or outlines before submitting to prevent substitutions. For raster artwork, note the font name in the comment box so we can recreate it accurately.

If you're submitting text only, you can choose from our selection of popular fonts during the design process — just request one via the comment box at no extra charge.

Can I order a multi-color or full-color imprint?

Absolutely! Multi-color and full-color imprints are available on many of our promotional products. Additional setup charges may apply for each color, along with a per-item run charge for additional imprint colors. We will notify you of any extra fees before proceeding.

With traditional imprint methods, each color is applied individually, and some products may require spacing between colors to ensure proper registration. If you have questions about ordering multi-color imprints, call us at 888-515-1026 or use our LiveChat.

What imprint methods are available?

We offer several imprint methods depending on the product, including screen printing, embroidery, laser engraving, debossing, heat transfer, full-color digital printing, and more. Available methods vary by item and are listed on each product page.

Screen printing — one of the most common methods — uses a mesh screen and squeegee to press ink through a stencil onto the surface. It works on a wide range of materials including plastic, glass, metal, and fabric. Contact us if you have questions about the best method for your design.

How do I choose an imprint color, and can I get an exact color match?

Imprint color availability varies by item — always confirm whether your preferred color is offered as a standard option. If not, PMS (Pantone) color matching may be available to achieve the exact shade you need.

For designs with multiple colors or detailed artwork, full-color imprinting may be the best option. Contact us with your design details and we'll help you choose the right product and imprint method for your needs.

What is your free sample policy?

Registered, qualified customers may receive up to 3 free sample products per order for the purpose of inspecting product quality and color. Samples are free up to a $10 value per order including shipping. If the total exceeds $10, you may be charged the difference with your approval. Charges for samples may be credited toward a future order of the same product.

Samples may arrive blank or with a random imprint from a previous print job. Most arrive within 5–7 business days; expedited shipping is available for an additional fee.

This policy does not cover pre-production proofs (spec samples), which are products printed with your actual logo. Call us at 888-515-1026, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–8 PM EST, for more information.

What is a pre-production proof (spec sample)?

A pre-production proof is a physical sample of the item you're ordering, printed with your actual imprint. It provides the best representation of how your items will look when produced in bulk and is highly recommended when time allows.

Pre-production proofs typically incur setup costs in addition to the item cost and add 5–10 business days to the process to allow for factory setup, production, and shipping. Once you approve the sample, full production begins on the standard timeline. Call us to request one.

Can I order samples if I'm located outside the United States?

Yes. Simply request a quote and an account manager will follow up with updated pricing that includes accurate shipping costs, duties, and taxes for your location. Duties and taxes for the sample are the responsibility of the customer.

What are your domestic shipping policies?

All orders ship directly from the manufacturer (FOB origin). Tracking information is typically provided within 24 hours of shipment. Unusually large or heavy orders may require freight carrier delivery — you'll be notified in advance.

Because products ship from multiple U.S. facilities, orders with more than one item may arrive in separate deliveries. Shipments cannot be delivered to P.O. Boxes.

Once merchandise leaves the warehouse, it becomes the property of the recipient. Shipping delays or losses caused by carriers or other third parties are not the responsibility of the seller.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. For international orders, submit a quote request and an account manager will follow up with a personalized quote including accurate shipping costs, duties, and taxes based on your location.

Delivery dates cannot be guaranteed for international orders due to customs processing and transit variables. Each country has unique import regulations that may restrict certain product categories such as brand-name merchandise, food, lighters, and sanitizers.

Import duties, taxes, and customs fees are the sole responsibility of the recipient. The buyer is considered the "importer of record" and must comply with all destination country regulations.

Do you ship to APO/FPO addresses?

Yes, though not all manufacturers ship to APO/FPO addresses. Please contact an Account Manager directly for pricing — rates are based on USPS. Confirm availability for your specific item before placing your order.

Can I ship my order to multiple addresses?

Yes, most orders can be shipped to multiple addresses. Split shipments often incur additional charges that vary by item and supplier. We recommend speaking with a promotions specialist for detailed guidance and a customized quote if you're shipping to more than one location.

Can you ship to a freight forwarder?

Yes. For orders headed outside the U.S., we can ship directly to the freight forwarder of your choice. Simply enter the freight forwarder's address as your "Ship To" destination at checkout. Please note that once your order is delivered to the freight forwarder, they assume full responsibility for the shipment and we are unable to provide tracking updates after that point.

Are there restrictions on shipping hazardous materials?

Yes. Certain products — such as lighters — are classified as hazardous materials and are subject to special shipping regulations. These items can only be shipped via ground service (no rush or expedited delivery) and are limited to addresses within the contiguous United States. Additional handling fees may apply and are included in the listed price. A freight forwarder may be required for other destinations.

Do you charge sales tax?

Yes, we collect sales tax in accordance with the laws of the state where your order is being delivered. The rate (typically 4%–8%) is based on the destination ZIP code, and certain states also require that shipping and handling fees be included in the taxable amount.

If you are tax-exempt, provide a valid sales tax exemption certificate at the time of your order to avoid being charged.

Is your website secure for online transactions?

Yes. Our site uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption for all transactions. Your credit card information is never stored on our servers — all payments are processed through secure, off-site servers monitored around the clock.

Our website and related domains undergo daily security scans to detect and block malware, hacking attempts, or unauthorized access. Any suspicious activity is reported to the appropriate authorities promptly.

What is the Quality Certification Alliance (QCA)?

The QCA is an independent organization that accredits promotional product suppliers who voluntarily undergo rigorous third-party audits. These audits cover product safety, quality, social responsibility, ethical sourcing, and environmental impact — going beyond standard regulatory requirements like CPSIA and California Prop 65.

We prioritize working with QCA-accredited suppliers so you can feel confident that the products you receive have been evaluated against some of the most thorough standards in the industry.

What is California Prop 65?

California Proposition 65 (the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986) requires businesses to provide warnings when their products expose consumers to chemicals identified as potentially harmful by the state of California.

If your order is being shipped to or distributed in California, items may need to include a Prop 65 warning label. We work closely with suppliers who prioritize compliance with Prop 65 and similar regulations. Contact us if you need compliance confirmation or documentation for a specific product.

What is the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA)?

The CPSIA (2008) established strict safety standards — especially for children's products — covering testing, documentation, and labeling. It limits hazardous substances such as lead and certain phthalates across a wide range of product categories including apparel, toys, electronics, and personal care items.

Most products we carry are CPSIA-compliant and suitable for campaigns targeting schools, families, or children. Contact us to confirm compliance or request certification documents for any specific item.
